So excited to be offering this again, we have been having so much fun! This will be a 5-week program on Wednesdays after school from 1:15-2:45. Beginning February 19th and ending March 19th. Kids will have the opportunity to explore their artistic side through a variety of fun and engaging projects. The crafts offered are designed by a team of engineers, artists and occupational therapists to get kids to learn about science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through engaging and fun craft projects! With arts and crafts, kids can learn a wide range of valuable skills and concepts, including: Creativity and Imagination: Arts and crafts encourage kids to think outside the box and express their unique ideas and perspectives. Fine Motor Skills: Activities like cutting, drawing, and molding help develop hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Problem-Solving Skills: Craft projects often require planning and troubleshooting, helping kids learn how to approach and solve problems creatively. Attention to Detail: Working on intricate designs or assembling small parts helps improve concentration and attention to detail. Patience and Persistence: Completing a project can take time and effort, teaching kids the value of patience and perseverance. Self-Esteem and Confidence: Completing a project and showcasing their work can boost kids' self-esteem and confidence in their abilities. Social Skills: Working on group projects or sharing materials fosters collaboration, communication, and teamwork.
